The Jamaican women's national soccer team that captured our hearts and made it to the knock-out stages of the 2023 Women's World Cup are boycotting their federation. A "constant mistreatment" by their governing body as well as allegations of not having received "full and correct" payment for their World Cup performance are some of the reasons they have shared. As it stands they have decided to not participate in the two Women's Gold Cup qualifiers next week. More details in this article here.
