The New York Liberty claim their first ever WNBA title with a game 5 win over the Minnesota Lynx 67-62. The series also set a new record for average WNBA Finals attendance (18,518 fans). Congrats New York! In other WNBA news the players association decided to opt out of their 2020 bargaining agreement. The clock is ticking with the league to agree on an agreement by 2025. KC Current star Temwa Chawinga is the first player to score 20 goals in a NWSL season. While there's an international break this week, there's just one regular-season game to go and we can't wait to follow Temwa!
